Hi everyone,

I graduated this Spring. I got approved for H1 in mid-september thru company A. I got job offer from Company B in mid-september too. So I applied for transfer H1 immediately ( applcn sent on Sep28, and receipt notice on Oct 1st). I started working for Company B from Oct 1st. Recently I got approval for the transfer I applied. Its been more than 2 months since I started working for Company B. Now I wish to go to India for that I would like to go to visa interview. I already booked a slot in Nogales. Now I am in a very confused state whether it is safe to go to Nogales or would it be safe if I go to New Delhi. Please help me. Suggest the best option for me. I have all the necessary documents for visa interview. Just waiting to make a decision. Firstly are there any potential problems in my case?

Greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance..

Since you have U.S. education and maintained status by having H-1B transferred before October 1, I think, you are good to go.

As long as u have a degree certificate earned in USA , you can travel to any US consulate in any country for a visa stamp. Shouldn't be a problem. I myself went to Vancouver to get my first H1-B stamp
