I joined my current co. in Jan, 2004 and got my H1b transfered. I got the new H1b approval with me but I couldn't get the stamping done as for that I believe I will have to travel to India and I couldn't get any leave.
My previous cos' I-94 and H1b stamping is expiring in Aug, 2005 and my current cos. approval is expiring in Dec' 05. My queries are -
1) Do I need to get my stamping done before my I-94 expires?
2) Will I have to get my stamping done from India (my native country)?
3) Is there a way I can get another H1 extn. right now itself, beacuse if I get the stamping in India around July/ Aug - I will have it only for 6mths?
4) My wife is now on EAD. Does she need any stamping because her I-94 is also getting expired in Aug, 2005? How about for travel purposes?
