Hi,

I changed my employer couple of weeks before. I got the receipt number for it. I need to go back to India due to perosnal reasons.
My queries are
1) Can iu go back to India and come back after couple of weeks with the old emplouers stamp on the passport.
2) What documents i would need to carry when i go back to India so that i can come back to US.
3) Somebody suggested me of going to Canda nad get the stamping done in Canada. I doid not understand how can i get stamping done in Canada. I can wait till I get approval on my H1 transfer to my new employer.
4) Do I need to get my new employers stamp on passport before i come backfrom India

Return on old visa

---- Yes, however the visa stamp should be valid at the time of returning to US
2) What documents i would need to carry when i go back to India so that i can come back to US.
---- Carry your old I-797, EAC receipt number document and other regular documents like your passport and I-94

3) Somebody suggested me of going to Canda nad get the stamping done in Canada. I doid not understand how can i get stamping done in Canada. I can wait till I get approval on my H1 transfer to my new employer.

---- You can go to Canada for stamping, but you should have your approved H1B approval notice for that (I-797). You can follow the various postings in this forum about going to Canada and getting the visa stamped

4) Do I need to get my new employers stamp on passport before i come backfrom India

---- Ideally you should, but as you are allowed to travel on your old stamped visa (if valid) and the H1 renewal is still in progress you can come back to US.
