H1 stamping - Mumbai. Came US on H4. Got H1. Now visiting India.

Hi all,

I came to US on H4. Got my H1 here. Working since last 1 year in US. Planing to visit India this Nov. Have got an appointment in Mumbai consulate for H1 stamping.

Has anyone heard/experienced any issues for getting your visa stamped in this scenario. All my paper work is in order.

I was having a second thought of getting my H1 stamped in Mexico.

Please suggest.

If you already have got an appointment in Mumbai, then stick to it. Consider Mexico only if you have US Education.
