H1 Stamping - is it safe with pending 485 ?

I am planning to travel to India and not sure if I will get my advance parole by that time. I do not have a valid visa on my passport but I do have H1.

Are there any risks involved in getting H1 stamping while 485 is pending ? I read someone was stuck for few months as they did not validate his visa becuase some name checkwas going on.

Can you gurus share your thoughts on this ?

My wife recenly went to India and got her H1B visa while her 485 was pending ( I am the primary applicant for the 485).
We mailed the 485 application on June 14th and she attended for the H1B stamping in the last week of June.
