Hi
I am an Indian. We are planning to go to Tijuana-Mexico for stamping (revalidation) my H1B and my wife's H4 Visa. My first visa got expired in October 2002, and both of us got valid 1-94 till 2005 with our new visa approval. I have some questions.
a) We are planning to go by car. Is there any difference between going by car and flying?
b) Just incase if they deny the visa, can we re-enter US with the old expired visa and a valid I-94
c) The couslulate web site says, one can no longer re-enter with an expired visa and valid I-94. So I called INS to make it confirm, but they said that we can still re-enter with an expired visa and valid I-94, and they have no idea about the web site.
We are expecting reply from some one who went to Tijuana recently for stamping.
Please help us!!
Thanks in advance
