I need to get my Visa stamped with the new employer I am with.
I am a "Landed Immigrant" in Canada, though I still live and work in the United States. Do I need to go the US Consulate in Canada (only) to get my visa stamped or I can go to Mexico (Matamoros in my case) and do it there too ?

Thanks,

Thanks Simran . I'm not sure why you put the "?" though, so I am still confused. I checked the https://www.nvars.com/use/site for appointment and there is a note on the Frontpage that says
" **Residents in Canada must apply in their own consular district** "
Thats the reason for my query. Logically, as long as I am outside US it should be fine, Canada or Mexico. But the two asterisked note made me stop and think. You know how it is with these things.

So please anyone .. ? I have to fly out of US and Canada appointments don't seem a viable option atm.
