H1 stamping in Canada - 1st Time in 8 years

I am planning on going to Canada for my landing formalities and whilel I am there I am planning to get my H1B Stamped now my concern is that this is goign to be my first attempt for H1B stamping since I came to US and that is about 8 years ago ... so I am anticiapting questions like - why am I appling for H1 after such a long time or why didnt I apply for it earlier ... although I can account for all the time I was here for ...

Has any one experienced going for H1 stamping in such a long period of time ... or any one know any thing particular I should keep in mind that could help ...

I would appreciate your feedback ...

I am also on the 8th yr h1b i hjust got the stamping yesterday in canada and was very smooth,no stupid question was asked.
If u were in good status all the time and have comany leteer anf few recent pay stubs do not worry and go ahead but keep in mind if unfortunatly if u do not get stmping done if could be a difficult to come back!
(If u have ms or higher degree than there is no doubt )
