I cam to U.S. in F1 visa. But did not complete my Masters and applied for H1B. I had been working on H1B status for around 2 years now. I am going to India for vacation and am planning to get my Visa stamped at Calcutta, India

What do you think are the chances that the consulate would reject my visa stamp application? Any experiences by those who were in similar circumstances would be greatey appreciated.

Do you think I might have an easier time if I go to Mexico or Canada?

H1B stamping with MS incomplete

I was in a similar situation. And my visa was pended for 7 months.

But the study part does not cause a trouble for the stamping. Make sure your company provides you with all necessary docs and also when you reply to questions regarding your joba nd company. Tell them that it is a permanent job and the company is well established and in if it is a consulting company then it has inhouse projects. This way it proves that you can never be on bench. And also say that you are happy with the salary and the work which the company offers you etc...

Take companies pictures which has people in it.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the info

Did they ask any questions about why you did not graduate? Also, u sure not graduating had nothing to with your visa delay?

Thanks again
