I am going to india in december to get f1->h1b stamped. I worked in india for a small company and I dont have any payslips.etc for the same. Do the consulate asks the payslips from india?? anybody had this kind of situation.

I think they ask for pay slips for the cuurent calendar year from the most recent place of employment. If you are employed inthe US on an H-1B make sure you take all of the required payslips.
