I am having an H1B stamping related doubt. If anyone can answer me, it will be really appreciated..
I am working on H1 for a consultancy firm and going to india on vacation soon. At that time I need to stamp.Say, my salary is 50$/hr currently and which is mentioned in every salary slip also , as an hrly rate. But in the offer letter which I got from employer at the time of joining, the gross income is mentioned as 60,000$/annum.
1. Now at the time of stamping interview, if they ask my salary. Is it ok to tell that my salary is 50$/hr.? So is it ok to get hourly salary?
I was having an idea that , consulate generally doesnt encourage hourly rate kind of salary and we shld have some annual gross income...
So pLs do advice me......
