h1 stamp......+?H4

Hello

I am going to mexico(Juarez) for H1 stamping

We have a small kid (3 months old) and wife is not coming with me for her H4 stamp

Can someone give me advice that if my H1 goes through should i ask for my wife's H4 to be stamped...should i have her papers with me and if yes what should i carry and show them....What should i ask the officer....

Please advice......Appreciate all who can help

I don't think that they would even entertain the request without the person being present.

It is illegal to keep someone else' passport, unless minor. Do not travel with it. Send her passport for visa revaildation once you are done with your stamping, if she cannot travel.

Ah! That's another point. A person's passport should be in possession of oneself (unless of course sent to appropriate authorities within the country of your presence). It's risky too.
