I am cuurently in the US on H1B. My I797 is valid till Dec 2005 but my
visa stamp has expired in 2004. I applied for revalidation to the state
department by they refused my application and asked to appear at a
consulate for interview. They also put "Cancelled without Prejudice" on
my already expired H1B stamp.
I am planning to apply for the stamp at the US consulate in Toronto as
I am a landed immigrant of Canada. I have some questions about DS 156:
1) Has your visa ever been cancelled?
What should I answer: Yes or No.
2) Have you ever been refused a US visa?
What should I answer: Yes or No.
Please help me and I am sure that there will be other people like me
who can get help from your answer.
