Hi all
I got my H1 in May this year. I want to get it stamped in case I have to go abroad. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on the merits/demerits of getting the stamp from Canada/Mexico or HomeCountry(in my case Pakistan).
I have a US degree and more interested in getting the stamp from Canada. The reason that I am reluctant to go back and get stamp from home is that after 9/11, the US government has been strict with individuals belonging to muslim countries so don't wanna risk getting stuck there. One specific question that I have is:
How long is it taking to get the stamp from Canada i.e. how long do I have to stay in Canada before I can get the stamp (particularly in my case, male from Pakistan)?
If any body has already gone through this, pl. let me know.
