H1 revalidation - St louis - How long is the wait??

Hi,
The H1 that currently stamped into passport has expired on October 7th 2000. I have a H1 Extension approved. I need to get it stamped in to passport at St louis.
I need to go to India in June/July for a Possible greencard interview at chennai consulate.
Can any one suggest me if need to get my h1 extn at a border post or st louis. and how long is the current wait for a h1 realidation at st louis.

no h-1 needed

i beleive if you have a valid extension of h-1 and if you are going for a consular processing , you do not need it revalidated

I was worred, some one told me that I needed re-validation, and I am expecting appointment any time now.
