is it just me or everyone is having butterflies in the stomach.....thinking about an unknown reason for which they may deny the visa....

hey, guys don't travel outside USA if its really not required. It is my personal experience.

Good Luck !!!

that what i would but i got australian PR approved and they have put a deadline take it or leave it.....i have to make my initial entry before Jan 07.......so comically i am thinking of hunting for job in australia if my visa gets denied....(i will give the address of my house....everyone can come and take their pick........i have new washer and dryer... :)

I dont know how people take this risk.....just for the sake of travelling for fun......maybe they are more gutsy than me..........i am just shuddering with the thought of not able to come back in, in case they deny my visa

hey Techy,

I think almost everyone who is going out of US for revalidation would feel the butterflies. But going by what I hear from friends who went for stamping, there is a very remote chance you will be denied if all you documents are good and it's a straight-forward case. I talked to 3 friends who got it done in the last 2 months.

1 - He didn't see any denials on that day
2 - He saw 4 denials out of 100 ( but there were strong reasons like first time
stamping, change of visa category etc)
3 - She saw one girl being asked to provide more documentation and even
gave her some time to arrange that. (Who would go for a stamping without
an employment letter? She did)

And they are more considerate if you have your family too with you ;)

hope this helps calm some of the butterflies.

BTW, I'm going tomorrow for my appointment on the 21st and having similar butterflies :(

Never stamped in India

My first H1 stamped at Tokyo, Japan in 1999
Second H1 stamped at Vancouver, Canada 2002.

I am planning for next H1 revalidation at vanvouver next month.

Since I never stamped in India, Is there any risk?

Thanks

mine is a change in visa category......but i think we are going to be all right....

pstVak....i think you should not have much problem since they did your second one in vancouver.....how can they now say that they cant do it again...
