H1 Revalidation - I-94

I sent my passport for revalidation on december 20th. I had some questions.

Since my old passport was about to expire next year, I took a new passport in the indian embassy here in DC and sent both of them along with the application. But I did not remove my I-94 from my old passport where it was stapled by the officer at POE when i last entered the U.S.
I just happened to read in the DOS website that the I-94 has to be stapled to the current passport. I did enclose a letter stating abt the old passport and that the I-94 is stapled to it.

Do you guys think the DC office might send it back saying they did find the I-94?

Secondly, how do you fin dout the receipt date in DC? By calling the phone number mentioned in this forum?

Also, is there a way I can find if my Money order has been encashed? I purchased it from the USPS (Post office).

Thanks
Ramkumar.

Should not be a problem for I94. The new I94 is the important doc.(that came with h1 approval)
Use a crystal ball or a psychic to trace the progress of your case!
Ask USPS, there should be a way to track it.

If you applying with wife how you are taking the moneyorder
150+150=300
