Hi
I am planning to send my passport to St.Louis for Revalidation. This is the second time I am doing it over there. I had some question with the forms: Please advise.

1. Do I fill all the columns that are not applicable with "None"? A friend of mine who did his revalidation in India adivsed to do so as they required all columns to be filled.

2. Name and Telephone numbers of person in U.S who you will be staying with?
--Shall I give my Room mate's number?

3. How Long Do you intend to stay in the U.S?
something like - "Until date (H1 Expiry date)"?

4. Who will pay for your trip?
- Self or just write "N/A"?

The following quesitons are more important -

5. Do you intend to study in the U.S?
I am currently doing part time M.S and I wil be graduating in two weeks. Do I mention it here?

6. Has Anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf.
I have filed for I-485 just a month ago using a private lawyer based on the cleared I-140 petition of my previous employer with a letter of future employment offer from the employer.

The irony is that i never mentioned this when I sent for revalidation last time. I had my I-140 cleared that time though it was thru my previous employer. And the Dept. of State issued me a visa. Since, now the situation is different (with stricter enforcement and checks!), I want to mention the fact.

7. This is with DS-157 - DO I mention the donations that I made to charitable insituions in the US? I believe that this is more towards identifying those donating to blacklisted organizations.

I would be grateful if anybody who can provide me answers for these questions.

Thanks
Ramkumar.

1. Not applicable is "Not applicable" not none
2. Not necessary. You can stay alone too. My suggestion: Not applicable
3. Correct H1 expiry date
4. Already in US

5. The answer used to be No before 911. But now you have to be truthful- answer Yes. H1 are eligible to do MS. So no problem there.
6. You should have mentioned it last time itself. Yes is the answer now.
7. NO
