H1 Revalidation-Canadian toursit visa, what should the letter from the company state......

Hello folks,
I need to go Montreal for H1-H1 revalidation.

1) To obtain the Canadian Tourist visa, what should the letter from my company state to the Canadian Consulate state - should they state that I am employed by them and I need to get my H1 work visa stamped from the US Consulate General at Montreal.

2) In the application of the Canadian Tourist Visa, what should I mention for the purpose of visit?

3) Should I wait for the appointment letter to arrive from US Consulate General, Montreal and then apply for the Canadian Tourist visa?

Please answer asap....

you have to have the apntmt letter if you say you are going for a visa interview. I got mine last mo

A print-out of web confirmation shall do

Hi,

Take a print-out of web confirmation(if you have set the appointment via web) or wait for the letter from US consulate to arrive, which shall in 4 -5 days. Any of the above doc shall work, but confirmation letter is a must. In the "purpose of visit"- write that you are going for H1 revalidation at bla-bla consulate and write the address of the consulate.

Have done this stuff recently.
