H1-Revalidation and Qualification

Hello All,

I am here in US for 4 years. Now I got my H1 extension and do not have time to send for revalidation to St.Louis. I am planning to do this at Chennai. I am a B.Com graduate with 12 years computer experience. I have lot of certifications and diplomas. I had no problem for my first time H1 stamping at Mumbai 4 years back. Do you guys think my qualification could create problems now at Chennai if I produce all required documents and letter from employer?

Please help. Really waiting for your inputs on this.

Suresh,

You need not worry about this, and you can make use of the
drop box facility by virtue of pocessing an earlier H1 in your
passport.

This is a routine thing and they would not go back to your
qualifications at this time.

What is your answer for shifting from Bombay consulate to
Chennai ?

I prefer Chennai consulte for my wife's H4 visa. Mumbai consulate insists for spouse name endorsement in passport but at chennai its not mandatory. Hope everything should be fine.

Is there any specific documents other than (I129 original application, paystub, DS-156, 157, draft, employment letter) required for Chennai visa revalidation? Same letter format sent to St.Louise will do for Chennai?

Did you get your H1 revalidated? Also through will consulate??
