H1 Reval with Comp B's Visa

Hi All,
One of my friend has the following question, I thought it would be wiser to ge feedback from you all.

* He works with a Comp A and his visa expired on Feb 15th '04.

** Comp A applied for his extension and he received the
Extension papers (Both I797 & I -94(new)
+ his wife's I 539 + I 94)
(Valid from 15th Feb '04 - 14th Feb '07)

*** Now he wants to shift to Comp B who will process his
Visa by doing a H1 transfer using his Extension Papers(Visa -
Not Stamped on PP)
(Valid from 15th March '04 - 14th March '07)

Now if he has to revalidate his Visa @ St. Louis , which papers should he send for revalidation?

1. The Extended H1 Papers of Comp A

or

2. The Visa papers of Comp B?

or

3. The Visa Papers of Comp B along with Comp A's Extension
Papers?


If he uses option 2 (Comp B) will he be Out of status from Feb 15th '04 thru March 14th '04?
Or
Is It better to use Option 3 (Send both Comp B & Comp A 's Extension papers to St. Louis)?

Kindly advise.
