Hello friends,
Let me explain you all a scenerio.My old H1 was from April 2005 till Oct 2007 and I changed my employer in 2006 April.I got my 797 approval notice.My wifes H4 is filed based upon my new 797 approval.So in-order to avoid complications (due to the fact that my passport doesnt have the latest Visa)for H4 stamping and while in POE while she comes to US ,I decided to get my passport stamped with the new H1 approval .The appointment date is on this month(2006 Oct 12th) in Matamoros,Mexico.
So my problem is that,is there any issue in getting the passport stamped with the new H1 when there is one more year pending with my Old Visa.
It will be really helpful,if some one can give me some info since I got only one more week for my stamping.
