H1 Renewal Stamping - Passport will expire in 6 months - PLEASE HELP

Hi All

My H1 Visa expired in Dec'2005 and i have applied for H1 Extension and i got it till Jan'2008. I am going to Canada for my H1 Stamping in April'2006.
But my passport expires in Nov'2006.

Can anybody please tell me

a) If i can go to canada to get my h1 stamped on this passport thats valid till Nov'2006.

b) Do i need to get a new passport before getting my H1 Stamped ?

c) Does H1 stamping depend on the date of expiration on passport?. Will they stamp visa till my H1 Validity date or will they stamp till my Passport Validaty date?

it is the discretion of the consular officer; however, it is best for you to renew passport before applying for visa stamp.
