H1 renewal and I-140 status

Hi All,

I am going for H1 Visa renewal in Chennai later this month.My current green card status is i-140 approved and waiting for 485 to be filed.

In the D-156 forms, should I mentioned Yes in the column where it asks "Did anyone apply for an Immigrant visa on your behalf.If YES, Who".Should I say here along with my company name.

Should I do the same for my wife's D-156 Form which has a similar questions.I included her in my I-140 petition.Did anyone of you had this situation.

By the way.. this is my extra 3 years extension after my 6 years have completed based on an approved I-140.

I think the answe is 'yes' after your employer files for I-140.

Correct, filing for I-140 means you have filed for an immigrant visa. If your wife is included, then say 'Yes' for her too. From what I understand this should not affect your H visas in anyway.
