H1 RENEWAL-Advice needed HARDON or anyone Please!

I am a J1 Waiver physician filed for GC on NIW.My H1 Visa is expiring in FIRST WEEK OF APRIL.

1- I will be able to apply for the renewal in 10 days.Should I go for the premium processing spending another 1000 dollars.My understanding is that once I file the renewal before the expiry of H1 I am all set.Is it correct?

2-My attorney is telling me to pay 750 dollars as the ACWIA fee since this is my first extension.Is it correct?

I have to pay all the expenses myself .

I believe so. As long as you have the filing receipt for the H1b extension you should be fine. But as I was never faced with this situation, don't take my word for it.

I don't have the slightest idea when and how you have to pay this.
