My H1 was refused and I was given a 221g firm. The reason was that I was earlier on F1 visa and on CPT when i started working and had not officialy graduated my Masters degree and did not have my origianl certificate. I told the consular that I had finished my course work and was graduating in may. he asked my to get my official transciripts and letter form my registers office. I have contacted my school regarding that.
My Problem is that He put a stamp on my f1 visa saying "Cancelled without Prejudice".I noticed that only when i reached home.My question is that why would he cancel my f1 visa before issuing my H1. When I go for my next interview can I ask the consular to issue my f1 back incase they are not issuing a H1b for me?
