hey everybody
i applied for my h1-B in may 1st week under the normal quota of 65K. the receipt date is 10th may 2005.
i got the receipt but no sign of approval from VSC.
my status was F1 before this .
I have come to know about peopel who have recieved theior h1's and their RDs were around june 1st week...
i talked to my lawyer and he said that since it's a first time h1 application and involves change of status so that's why it takes a bit longer...
i am beginnign to get worried as it is already 5 months ??
any help/ feedback wud be appreciated
