Both I and my husband are on our 1st TN. He is applying for H1 this year and will start green card application afterwards... but his job might not be stable towards the end of this year.
We're debating if I should apply for H1 this year as well, or green card in that matter.
If I do apply for H1, high cost is one concern, and I heard that it's not easy to get green card as an accountant. Plus, like Nelsona said, if TN is changing to 3-year term, I can just renew my TN.
But if I stay as TN, the risk of him losing his job at the end of the year is a big concern. I'm also not sure how many times I could have my TN renewed.
But if we're both on H1, could I still get GC if his application gets approved first and I'm not a H4?
