I desperately need some advice. I came to US on f2 visa. Later a consultant applied for my H1 visa. I received a letter from INS that said that the petiotion and change of status has been approved. It also has an I-94 attached at the bottom. This was in 2003 Dec. Since then I have never got a project & so have not worked. Have no pay stubs either. Also, I ahve never left US in this time so the H1 is not stamped.
I wish to visit my home country. As I do not have any pay stubs I will have problems getting H1 stamped. The best I want is to change to H4 as my Husbands H1 begins from Oct 1st. Will there be any problem as I have not worked at all?
Can I apply for H4 from US itself?
Pls help. This is my only hope!
