This topic has been discussed but I just can't believe the previous answers so I want to reiterate it again.
An H1B holder is marrying GC holder.
His GC process trough employment is underway but after 2 years
it's still in DOL and there are no signs that it will ever be processed. California DOL processing is just not moving.
His employment is likely to be terminated soon because of the current economic climate.
Is there anything that can be done to allow him to stay with his
pregnant wife and support her?
How is it possible that person who legally entered the country,
paid all his taxes including social security for 3 years can be separated from his wife just because economy is down? It's 21 century - we are not slaves or animals that were brought in when they were desperately needed and disposed as rubbish when situation has reversed?
I am not expecting any positive answers - but just wanted to
share with this board my anger.
