H1 Interview in Matamoros. Attending with a kid-Question

Hello all,

We have a H1/H4 interview in Matamoros and will be traveling with my wife
and six months old son. My son was born in the US and does not
need any stamping.

Can I take my son for the interview. Are there any restrictions at
the consulate while bringing kids? Can anyone share similar
experiences?

Call the consulate and check.
I know the Canadian consulates don't have any restrictions. Doesn't make sense to have such restrictions for infants.
