My friend is H1 holder guy. His GC is just now filed. Even priority date has not come yet.
But he got opportunity to get partnership in business 'Subway' OR 'Gas Station'. He want to invest 25% money in that. Can he legally invest in it, and can be 25% partner of that business. (I understand he can not work there, as he has no work permit to work in subway) ?
If above option is possible then it is good. Otherwise he has to give loan(of 25% money) to other partner, and then he has to be indirect partner. Is there any harm in this option ? Is it possible ?
