H1/H4 Visa Revalidation

Hi,

I want to revalidate my H1 and my wife's H4 visa in St. Louis/DC.
But, I don't have a separate I-797 approval notice for the H4 visa. I didn't apply for H4 extension along with my H1 extension.
My wife left USA before the expiry of the H4 visa and came back to USA and got her new I-94 based on my latest H1 approval date.

Now, I want to revalidate the H4 Visa in St. Lousi/DC along with my H1 visa revalidation.

Will my H1 approval notice is enough to revalidate both my H1 and my wife's H4 visa in St. Louis/DC.

Do I need to have a separate I-797 for the H4 visa revalidation?

Yes. It is OK. No need to apply extention. I have exact same situation and asked my Lawyer and they said it is ok without my wife's H-4 extention notice.
