H1 & H4 Visa Revalidation in USA(please help)

Hi,

Please help me with H1 & H4 visa revalidation in USA.

I have valid visa in my passport upto oct 2003 and for my wife also.In Oct 2003 the company where iam working by the time applied for H1 renewal and got it from oct 2003- oct 2006 and for my wife also.By the end of Nov 2003 i changed my employer and the new company applied for my H1 and approved from dec 2003 - dec 2006 and didn't applied for my wife bcz she already got from the old company upto oct 2006.

now i want to send mine and my wife passport for visa revalidation.Here Do i need to send my both I-797(one from old employer oct 2003-oct 2006 and one from new employer dec 2003- dec 2006) or only one from my current employer is enough.

Please help me with what are the documents i need to send and can i send both passports in one packet.Please help me in detail.

You need to get H4 for your wife too before sending both passports (wiht both I797s - total 4) for revalidation. You can send yours now and get the stamp (send both I797s) and then ask your wife to go to canada/mexico/home country for H4 stamp.

current and old I-797 are required?

I sent email to rajiv kanna from this website , he said i dont need another H4 I-797 because my wife had valid I-797 from oct 2003 -sept 2006,even though i change my employer.


Second thing is Do i need to send Old company I -797 and new company I-797 ?
