my wife is on H1 status. She wants to quit the job and go back on H4. We are planning to go to India in a couple of months. Is it all right to wait till we go to India and then she apply for an H4 visa stamp(as the visa has expired) and enter the country on H4 status.
Will the consulates in india ask for her latest pay stubs for the H4 transfer.
I dont want that she goes out of status by not applying for H1- H4 transfer. But if it can be avoided it would be good.
