H1-H4 Stamping Advice!

I am planning to travel outside US around Aug'08 and here is my situation:

H-1 (I-797) valid till Dec'2008 (currently on 8th Yr)
PD Aug'02 EB3
Labor AD - July'07
I-140 Pending
I-485 Pending
AP - Valid till Nov'08
EAD - recd Nov'07
FP - Nov'07
will file H1 extension in Sept'08

Now, is it okay if i travel in Aug and go for stamping (US consulate Delhi) for the H1 (valid till Dec'08). Is there any condition that H1- Should be valid for this many months (eg 6 months) from the date of departure (Nov'08)? While coming back to US ,in my case there would be only 1 month left from the date of re-enter.

Please suggest.

So, it means as long as you have the valid visa stamped in the ppt you can go out or come back to US with no hassels. The time left to the stamped visa from the date of arrival or deperture doesn't matter.
