H1 Extension

Hello,

I am completing my 6 year H1B term in July 2004. My employer is preparing to file for 7th year H1Bextension with my labor pending more than a year in Federal.

Can I transfer my 7th year H1B extension through some other company while my employer file for extension and apply Labor through the new employer?

Please advice.
