H1 extension terminated and reapplied. What happens to h4 extension?

Hi,
I had applied for h1 for myself & h4 extension for my wife. H4 extension got approved while the h1 extension was pending. After that the company terminated me and revoked my h1. I applied for an h1 transfer immediately through another company.
My question is whether i should be applying for h4 extension again? Basically is the h4 dependent on just my present status - (in which case i should not have to apply for her h4 since my h1 will be approved soon.)


Any help is really appreciated.
 
Apply for H4 for your dependents since it is based upon your H1-B. You may face problems in the future if you don't correct it now.
