My H1b expires in sep 2009 and planning to apply for extension in apr 09 (6 months before expiry). I am applying in premium processing so that I can try a H1 transfer in case extension gets denied. My concern is whether it would raise a red flag with USCIS if I apply extension about 6 months before expiry in premium processing. Thank you.
