H1 extension filed and my H4 visa expiring soon..... help

my spouse's company has filed for his H1 extension and we were going to file for my H4 renewal once his H1 extension was approved. sadly we haven't heard any news about his H1 renewal and my H4 expires at the end of april

anyone been in this situation who can guide us as what to do next?

As long you have filed with in status you are legal even your date expires.

you can apply for your h4 extension along with your spouse H1 B application. I guess, you can even file for your h4 extention now, where in the Form 539 , you have to mention your spouse's notice receipt #, which is pending for approval.

Since you are applying b4 the expiry of your I-94, you are safe.

If you wait for your spouse's approval, by the time if your I-94 expires, then you have to go outside to get stamping. You can't extend it in US.
