My H1B extension application was applied in January 2008 and I received an RFE for employment verification in March 2009. I was denied the H1 extension . Since mid March 2009 I lost my project and till date I am looking for 1. I have my EAD renewal valid till OCt 2010.
1. Can I now still be considered in status as EAD is valid?
2. On EAD can I still be ok if i am out of project?
3. Will my H1B denial have any impact on my I485 application?
4. Is my previous employer still my employer after the H1 extension denial?
5. My wife came here on H4 and is now working on EAD. how can all this impact her status?
6. Is it safe to travel out of country when i am out of project?
7. How long can i stay out of job on EAD?
8. Is there a possibility that I get denied for 485 or EAD renewal based on my H1 extension denial?
9. If I work with other employer in the new job that I find, will the RFEs for 485 be directed to the new employer or still my previous employer will respond to them? will i need to submit any docs to USCIS informing them change in employer on EAD status?
10. if at all my 485 gets RFE how much time do i have to respond to those RFEs and if denied in how much time do I have to leave the country
