My H1 will expire in June. My LC was filed 2 weeks ago. The following are my questions:
1. Is it true that my GC processing can continue, even after I leave the country, if my employer agrees to it?
2. Do I have to get a new H1 one year later, to come back to US, even if my 485 has been filed by then? Can I get my EAD soon after coming back in that case.
3. Would I have any problems in future (with my GC processing) if I switch to F1 for the 1yr?
