My H1 expired on Feb 6th. I filed for my I485 on May 10th and got the receipt. I have never been out of status before Feb 6th. From Feb 6th to May 10th is less than 180 days. Is there any problem if I travel to India on Advance Parole. Has anyone been questioned by the INS or re-entry regarding the Out of status? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
