H1-B visa stamping in Germany

Hi,

I am from India and currently working in Germany.
One of the employer in USA has offered me a job in USA.

My Employer will sponser my H1 visa. After H1 visa is approved by INS can I get H1-B visa stamped at US consulate in Germany or do I need to go to my home country India.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Call or email the US Consulate in Germany and ask them if they'll give you the H1 stamp. That's the best way to find out. Don't see why they wouldn't do it since you live and work in Germany. If they do turn you down, please let us know the reason for the refusal. I got my stamp through a "third party", Canada - they were very cool and did it without any questions.
