I am a Canadian PR and a Toronto resident. I have been trying to setup an apptmt for H1-B visa stamping at Toronto Consulate for the last month with no success.
I have instead booked an apptmt in Ottawa sometime in Jan 2007. Can anyone tell me if it is OK for me to setup this appointment in Ottawa even though the nvars website states that residents in Canada "MUST" apply in their own consular district?
