Hey:
I am planning to get a H-1B issued in Bombay, India in August 2001 after receiving my master\'s. I am currently in the US on a F-1 and hold both an BSEE
and MSEE (aug\'01) degrees from American institutions. My petioner is a Fortune-500 semiconductor company. I have worked with this company on
curricular practical training (CPT - internships) for 3 terms. I do not have paystubs as a full-time employee.
After checking with the Mumbai Consulate website, I have confirmed that I qualify for the drop-box. Please share any expereinces
on the process at the consulate: rejections, time, documents, do\'s and don\'t. I am trying to understand the pros and cons of getting the visa issued in
Mumbai vs at the consulate in Canada/Mexico.
Any information will be greatly appreciated!!!
