H1-B visa Expired more than a year

Hi,
My H1-B Exptesion approved on 3rd april.

Visa in my passport expired more than year(feb 2001).

What is the better way to get stamp in my passport? Is it good to go to India and get stamp?
or go for border post?

Go to India. With the recent change in law (after April 1), you will not be able to enter US if for any reason your visa is denied in Canada or Mexico even if you have valid I-94.
