H1-B transfer with I-140 approval with old employer

Hi
I am on H1-B and with one employer since beginning. I had Labour and I-140cleared.Now the client to which i am working is offering full time. Can i carry the status from previous company (I-140) to present company and process further with GC ? IS it possible or is there any such way to proceed or do i need to start GC process from the beginning with new employer ? Please advice.

you can do it as long as your current employer doesn' t withdraw the I 140.
