H1-B transfer: no latest payslips

I am on a H1 B visa and the last paycheck is Jan 15 2002. I havent been laid off...but am on sick leave/vacation now. Present employer hasnt cancelled H1.

If I have 3 payslips dtd Jan 01 2002, Jan 15 2002 and March 31 2002...will my H1 transfer be okay??

Technically am I out of status in the perios in between Jan 15 to Mar 31??

How can I handle this situation.??

I think if you have a paycheck stub from March 2002, you have a good chance. I would draft a letter explaining the situation. E-mail me and maybe I can put the case together for you.
