I am facing alot of harasemnt in my current job. I am on F1-OPT here. Only a few months are left for my OPT to expire but I have pesuaded my boss to file for my H1 and he has started the papare work. But My job sucks and I am very unhappy here. I want to change jobs. But dont know when is the right time. My question are:
(1) If I give an H1 start date as Decmber 25, then should I change jobs around that time is sometime soon after Dec 25. for atleast I will have an H1 in hand from this thankless job?
(2) Then in Decemnber will my H1 transefer be easier? How much will my new employer will have to pay for my transfer-how much does transfer cost?
(3) If my plan is as stated above, when is the right/legal time to quit this current job?
(4) Or do you think I shd look for a new job in tese few monthw while I am on my OPT rather then after Dec 25 when i will be on H1?
